The Srirampur – 1 (SRP-1) Incline Underground Coal Mine has a designed capacity of 0.3 MTPA capacity over an area of 167.00 Ha. It is operated by Singareni Collieries Company Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India. The project started started its operation in 1976 and received its environment clearance for an expansion to the capacity of 0.3 MTPA on 27 October, 2008[4]
