Background

The Ssangyong C&E Donghae factory is the world's largest cements factory with an annual production capacity of 11.5 million tons as a single scale, and it is equipped with Korea's one and only system that can produce cements of all products from 1 to 5 types. The plant houses seven kilns.[2] In 2021, Ssangyong Cement initiated a modernization project for Line 4 of the Donghae Plant, incorporating the Pyrorotor® system to enhance production efficiency and environmental performance.[3]
