Strategic Analysis of the Global Status of Carbon Capture and Storage - Report 5: Synthesis Report is a report by WorleyParsons Services for the the Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute.[1]

The report, which was published in October 2009, is a synthesis report of four earlier reports surveying all Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) projects being undertaken around the world, reviewing the costs of the technology for coal-fired power stations and other energy intensive industrial applications, examining policy towards CCS, identifying the R&D networks involved in the area and undertaking an assessment of the gaps in the deployment of large scale CCS projects.

While WorleyParsons Services is listed as the author of the synthesis report, the firm was the leader of a consortium which also included Schlumberger, Baker & McKenzie and the Electric Power Research Institute.
