Suancigou coal mine

Suancigou coal mine (内蒙古伊泰京粤酸刺沟矿业有限责任公司酸刺沟煤矿) is one of the planned mines in the Erdos Jungar Banner mining area in Inner Mongolia. It was invested and constructed by Inner Mongolia Yitai Jingyue Suancigou Mining Co., Ltd., with a production capacity of 18 million tons per year.[1]

Coal Mine Background

Suancigou mine started construction in 2005 and was put into joint trial operation in August 2008. In April 2010, the Coal Industry Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region agreed that the Suancigou mine project passed the acceptance check and was officially put into operation. In November 2018, with the approval of the Coal Industry Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the production capacity of Suancigou coal mine increased from 12.00 Mt/a to 18.00 Mt/a.[2]
