Sumgayit power station (Sumqayıt ES, Сумгаитская ТЭЦ) is an operating power station of at least 525-megawatts (MW) in Sumgait, Absheron district, Azerbaijan. It is also known as Sumgait.

Background
Due to the drop in the water level in the Caspian Sea, the construction of a new overpass and a water pumping station in connection with the Sumgayit power plant was successfully completed as of 2022.[8][9]
