Swanbank-A power station was a 396-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Queensland, Australia. The plant was retired in 2002.

Background on Plant

The plants six units were commissioned between 1966 and 1969 and operated until they were retired in 2002.[1] Swanbank-A was adjacent to the also-retired Swanbank-B power station.
