Project Details

  • Owner: SCANA
  • Capacity:
  • Pength: 59.5 kilometers / 37 miles[2]
  • Diameter: 20 inches[2]
  • Status: Cancelled
  • Start Year: 2019

Background

The proposed project would run from Franklinton, North Carolina to Clayton, North Carolina stretching by 37 miles. The system will terminate at the Clayton supply interchange facility which will also serve as a future supply interchange with the planned Atlantic Coast Pipeline[2], which was cancelled in 2020.[3] The cancellation of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline resulted in the cancellation of several allied projects. As of December 2020 there has been no further news of this expansion, and it appears to be shelved. As of August 2023, there has been no update on the project, so the project is presumed cancelled.
