Background

TPI Polene is a public company and the third-largest Thai cement manufacturer[3]. TPI Polene Group has taken multiple measures to pursue green cement production. The company aims to reduce its carbon footprint on clinker production by substituting coal with waste-toenergy municipal solid waste. The company is actively investing in renewable energy sources to power its cement plant to achieve nearly 100% renewable power by 2025[4].
