Background
This proposed 2 × 660 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power station called for tender in November 2022.[4]
In December 2022, Tacheng District Development and Reform Commission announced that the first-place winner of the power project's bidding process was State Power Investment Corporation Xinjiang Energy and Chemical Co.[5]
In April 2022, bidding results for feasibility study[6] and social impact assessment were announced.[7]
In September 2023, the power station was permitted.[8]
