Taimyr LNG Terminal, also known as Таймыр СПГ and Восток газ, is a proposed LNG export terminal in Russia.

Background
In February 2021, this terminal was included in the government long-term LNG export development program.[6][7]
In October 2023, Russian President V. Putin signed a law allowing export of LNG from certain Arctic fields which will affect about 36 Rosneft fields and may facilitate implementation of this project.[8][9]
There have been no other recent development updates related to this project, but since its start year is between 2030-2035, it is still considered proposed.[6]
The project was not included into the "Energy Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2050", released by the Ministry of Energy of Russia in April 2025. [10] As of June 2026, there have not been any further updates.
