Taiye Coal Mine (山西楼俊集团泰业煤业有限公司) is an underground coal mine located in Tianjiashan Village, Sanjiao Town, Lin County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province, China.[1]

Coal Mine Background

Taiye Coal Mine is operated by Shanxi Loujun Group Taiye Coal Industry Co., Ltd. The mine is resource integrated. It was formed by the integration of three coal mines in 2009. After the reorganization, the production scale was 1.2 million tons/year.[2]As of the end of January 2021, the approved production capacity was 2.1 million tons/year. [3]

On March 31, 2021, an electrical and mechanical accident occurred in Taiye Coal Mine, and one person was killed.[4]On June 16, 2021, a roofing accident occurred in Taiye Coal Mine, resulting in 7 people being trapped. After the emergency rescue, the trapped persons were successfully rescued.[4]
