Tangshan Fengnan District Jing an Iron and Steel Co Ltd (唐山市丰南区经安钢铁有限公司, 唐山市丰南区经安钢铁集团有限公司, 丰南市北阳钢铁有限公司, 唐山市丰南区北阳钢铁有限公司), also known as Tangshan Fengnan District Beiyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Fengnan City Beiyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., is a steel plant in Tangshan, Hebei, China that operates blast furnace (BF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) technology.

Background

According to the announcement of the capacity replacement plan in February 2019, the company plans to build a 160-tonne basic oxygen furnace and eliminate a 120-tonne basic oxygen furnace and a 60-tonne basic oxygen furnace.[1] In July 2022, the environmental impact report of this project was approved.[2] The project is under construction in 2023.[3]

According to the announcement in October 2021, the company plans to eliminate the existing four 120m2 belt sintering machines and build two 240-square-meter belt sintering machines with an annual output of 4.75 million tons of sinter.[4]
