Background

The pipeline received EIA approval in 2019[2] and 2020[3]. The construction of the part Caofeidian to Baodi began in 2019[4]. The part of Baodi to Yongqing was under construction since May 2020[5]. The source of the pipeline is Tangshan LNG imported liquefied gas. The pipeline will connect Caofeidian LNG Terminal with Russia-China East Line Domestic Extension[4]
