The Guardian Climate Change Summit 2009

The Guardian Climate Change Summit 2009 is being held at the Hotel Russell in London on June 15, 2009. The website for the conference states that "this year's climate change summit brings together key strategic thinkers and leading practitioners to explore how business can build and maintain a commitment to tackling climate change through the recession and beyond."[1]

"A series of practical workshops will focus on solutions that have been implemented in practice and delivered tangible cost savings, improved efficiencies and made a real difference to business' impact on climate change," the website states. Themes for the conference include "communications and reputation."[1]

The conference sponsors are E.ON UK and the Food and Drink Federation.[2] Speakers include Dr. Paul Golby, the chief executive E.ON UK and Stephen Reeson, the energy manager for the Food and Drink Federation.[3]
