Coal Mine Background

The Tian’an No.4 Coal Mine was built in 1955 and was completed and put into operation on August 1, 1958, with a design production capacity of 0.6 million tons per year. In December 1985, the second level was completed and put into production. The new design production capacity was 0.6 million tons per year, and the actual production capacity reached 1.8 million tons per year. The approved production capacity in 2003 was 2.9 million tons per year.[2] The approved production capacity in 2019 is 2.24 million tons per year. [3]
