Background

The Tiger Gas Pipeline transports natural gas from Haynesville Shale play in East Texas to Louisiana, US. The pipeline applied for authorization for construction from U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on 31 August, 2009.[4] FERC issued a favorable environmental assessment for the project in January 2010.[2] Construction of the pipeline began in June 2010 and was completed and became operational in December 2010.[5]

Tiger Gas Pipeline is operated by ETC Tiger Pipeline, LLC, a subsidiary of Energy Transfer Partners L.P.[6]

Expansion Projects

ETC Tiger Pipeline (Louisiana) Expansion

Tiger Gas Pipeline submitted for approval to the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in June 2010 and was authorized in February 2011.[5] The construction of the expansion project was completed on 19 July, 2011 and began operation since.[3]
