Tongmei Tashan power station (同煤漳泽电力塔山发电公司) is a 2,520-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Shanxi Province, China.

Background on Plant
The two existing coal-fired units of Tongmei Tashan power station, totaling 1,200 MW, were brought online in 2008. The plant is owned by Datong Coal Mining Group.[1][2]
Description of Expansion
Datong Coal is currently planning to build two additional coal-fired units at this plant, with a total planned capacity of 1,320 MW. The new units are under construction and scheduled to be completed in 2015.[3]
Units 3-4 began operating in 2016.[4]
