Trigen Colorado Steam & Electric Plant is a coal-fired power station that provides power to Coors' Golden beer brewing facility. It was acquired in 1995 by Trigen-Nations Energy, a collaboration between Trigen Energy Corporation and Nations Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tucson Electric Power Company. [1] Trigen is subsidiary of Veolia Energy North America. [2]
