Background

Route

The pipeline is expected to pass through the territory of the Buguruslan and Buzuluk regions of the Orenburg region. It will connect the oil collection point near the village of Tverdilovo, Orenburg region, to the oil pumping station of Transneft in Pokhvistnevo, Samara region.[1] The pipeline is intended to replace current transportation of oil by road and rail.[1] It will connect the Sladkovsko-Zarechnoye oil fields in the Tashlinsky district with the Transneft oil pipeline system.[4]

Status

Construction started in the second quarter of 2021, simultaneously from Tverdilovo and Pokhvistnevo. As of September 2021, 25 kilometers of the pipeline has already been constructed.[1] In January 2022, it was reported that Trading House "POLYPLASTIC Ural" had delivered about 10 kilometers of PE100 pipes with diameters ranging from 63 to 355 mm.[5]

As of January 2024, there are no updates on the status of the pipeline. The pipeline is still considered under construction, and the anticipated commencement year is now set for 2024.
