Urgalugol coal mines

The Urgalugol coal mines are a set of surface opencast mines, operated by JSC SUEK, a subsidiary of SUEK, producing 9.5 million tonnes per annum in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia.[1]


The map below shows the exact location of the Chegdomyn coal processing plant, near Chegdomyn, in Verkhnebureinsky District, Khabarovsk Krai, Russia. The Chegdomyn plant processes all the coal from the Urgal mines, which are located around Chegdomyn.[2]
