Background

The Tacaimbó power station was listed as a participant in Brazil's national energy auctions as recently as June 2021.[5] However, as of November 2022, the project appears to be shelved, as it no longer appears in Brazil's government database of power plants[6] and there has been no other news about it for more than two years.
