Background

In January 2022, Gazprom announced it would carry out repair work on the pipeline, to be finished by early February 2022.[5]

The SciGRID_gas combined IGG gas transmission network data set refers to the pipeline as INET_PL_11510, INET_PL_11511, INET_PL_11512, INET_PL_11513.[6]

In August 2022, Latvia resumed imports of Russian gas, which was stopped by Gazprom at the end of July for violation of election conditions. According to the Gazprom report, exports of blue fuel to Latvia in 2020 amounted to 1.6 billion cubic meters, and in 2019 – 1.7 billion.[2]
