Background

In November 2020 a proposal for biofuel was floated to replace natural gas.[9] The fuel type for the plant remains unclear in March 2021.[10] As of December 2021, the proposal is for total of 250 MW through engines.[11] EDF expects it to come online by 2025 or 2026.
