Background
Owned by the Vietnamese government, Vicem was formerly known as the Union of Cement Enterprises until 1994 it was renamed to Vietnam Cement Corp[3]. Vicem has shifted focus to building a more sustainable production and supply 'greener' products to stand out in the over-saturated cement market in Vietnam[4].
