Vikas Power

From Global Energy Monitor

Vikas Power was described in a 2007 website report as being promoted "by Meenakshi Group".[1] However, in January 2012 Vikas Power is not listed by the Meenakshi Group as one of its subsidiaries involved in power generation projects.[2]

A March 2009 Krishnapatnam Port Company document refers to a a proposed 540 megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station requiring 2 million tonnes of coal to be imported through Krishnapatnam port.[3]
