Background
Vista Del Sol LNG Terminal was a proposed LNG terminal in Texas, United States.[1] In August of 2006, ExxonMobil announced it planned to sell the project to another operator. The project's sale was announced after the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved the project in June of 2005.[2] The project was acquired by 4Gas in January of 2007.[3] The project was later cancelled, however; in March of 2010 4Gas announced it was selling the Vista del Sol project site.[4]
