Background

Kaizen Power Limited is a Special Purpose Vehicle promoted by Abhijeet Group for setting up a 300 MW captive coal-based power project at Vishakhapatnam in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The total project cost is estimated at Rs 1,644 Crores; the debt of the project has been underwritten by UCO bank. The power station was originally scheduled to come online in 2013.

However, the project appears to have been abandoned, since there are no reports of construction or development, as of May 2017.
