Background

Kaizen Power Limited is a Special Purpose Vehicle promoted by Abhijeet Group for setting up a 300 MW captive coal-based power project at Vishakhapatnam in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The total project cost is estimated at Rs 1,644 Crores; the debt of the project has been underwritten by UCO bank. The power station was originally scheduled to come online in 2013.[1][2]

However, the project appears to have been abandoned, since there are no reports of construction or development, as of May 2017.
