Background
In 2019, it was reported that many of the coal-fired power generating units in the Shandong Province with less than 300 MW of capacity would be shut down "in about three years."[4] However, this power station may have been exempt from that plan.
Unit 3, a new 50MW unit was planned and received approval in 2025, but no construction news was found.[5][6]
Unit 2 was listed as having undergone back-pressure conversion in 2026.[7]
