The network will feature pipelines running from the Danish border at Ellund, Germany to Tjele, in the north of Denmark.[1]

Background

The West Danish Hydrogen Network is a proposal by Energinet that contributes to the European Hydrogen Backbone. These pipelines are expected to carry Hydrogen, but TSOs have not made it clear how much natural gas will be blended into the pipelines, nor when they'll be fully converted to Hydrogen.[1]

The plans feature eventual connections to "energy islands" in the North and Baltic seas, although these projects are still in very early stages of development.
