Background

PT Petrogas Jatim Utama (Perseroda) and Woodside Energy have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop an LNG regasification hub in Probolinggo.

This project appears to be a separate proposal from Australasia Probolinggo LNG Terminal.

As of July 2023, there were no updates and the project was inferred to be shelved.

As of August 2025, there have been no updates in over four years, and the project was inferred to be cancelled.
