Xiantao power station (华润电力仙桃发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1320-megawatts (MW) in Changtangkou Town Zengjiatai Villege, Xiantao, Hubei, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background on Project
In 2015 China Resources Holding was permitted to build a 2 x 660 MW coal-fired power station in the city of Xiantao.[3][4]
The project was planned for completion in 2017,[5][6] but construction did not begin until March 2019.[7]
Unit 1 was connected to the grid by the end of June 2022,[8] and began operating July 10, 2022.[9]
Unit was connected to the grid on October 22, 2022,[10] and was operating by November 2022.[11]
In December 2022, a 2 x 660 MW Phase II expansion was announced at Xiantao power station.[12] In October 2023, Environmental Impact Assessment information was made available.[13] In November 2023, Phase II was reportedly preparing to start construction.[14]
