Xinjiang Changdong power station (新疆昌东2×66万千瓦煤电项目) is an operating power station of at least 660-megawatts (MW) in Wucaiwan Town, Jimsar, Changji, Xinjiang, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background
Both units are under construction. In 2024, Unit 1 was actively being built, with Unit 2's construction commencing in March.[7]
In 2025, Unit 1 reached the turbine rotation stage and was connected to the grid in December.[8][9]
Unit 1 passed its 168-hour trial in January 2026, while Unit 2 was progressing toward commissioning by the end of the year.[10]
