Background

The pipeline received EIA approval in 2019[4] and 2020[5]. The construction of the part Caofeidian to Baodi began in 2019[3]. The part of Baodi to Yongqing was under construction since May 2020[6]. The source of the pipeline is Tangshan LNG imported liquefied gas. The pipeline will connect Tangshan LNG Terminal with Russia-China East Line Domestic Extension[3]
