Background

Construction of the condensate pipeline is part of the larger Yakutia LNG Project. The pipeline will be used to transport stable gas condensate to a condensate stabilization unit in Nizhny Bestyakh (Sakha Republic). After being processed, technical/automobile propane-butane mix and stable gas condensate will be supplied to the local market and shipped to consumers in Russia and abroad by rail. In July 2023, it was reported that Yakut Fuel and Energy Company was looking for a strategic partner to implement the project. As of January 2024, there have not been any updates about the project.[3][4][5]
