Yan'an Thermal power station (大唐延安热电厂) is an operating power station of at least 700-megawatts (MW) in Yaodian Town, Baota District, Yan'an, Shaanxi, China. It is also known as Datang Yan’an power station, 大唐延安电厂.

Background on Project
China Datang is planning to build a cogeneration coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 700 MW in Shaanxi Province. The environmental impact assessment was approved in March 2014.[2]
The power station is under construction and planned for operation in 2017.[3]
Unit 1 was commissioned in December 2017.[4]
As of May 2018 Unit 2 has been completed but is waiting for a permit to be commissioned.[5] Unit 2 was commissioned in July 2018.[6]
