Yanbu Cement Al Nabah Cement Plant (مصنع اسمنت ينبع), also known as Yanbu Cement Plant, is an integrated cement plant operating in Al Nabah, Al-Medinah, Saudi Arabia.
Location
The map below shows the exact location of the cement plant in Al Nabah, Al-Medinah, Saudi Arabia[1]:
Coordinates (WGS 84): 24.277988, 37.564828 (exact)[2]
Background
The Yanbu Cement Plant first began production in 1979 with two clinker kilns. By 2012, it had added three more clinker kilns, though by 2016 three had also been shut down and leaving the company with over 7 million tonnes per year in clinker production capacity.[3] In 2015, when it completed upgrades on its largest clinker kiln, it installed what was then the largest Waste Heat Recovery system in the world.[4]
