Yangliuqing power station (华能杨柳青发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1300-megawatts (MW) in Xiqing, Tianjin, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background
The original power station, consisting of four units, have been retired. The power station is now known as Yangliuqing power station. Its units 1-4 (2x350MW and 2x300MW) started operation in 1998 to 2007. The plant is majority-owned by China Huaneng.[1]
Description of Expansion
Huaneng reports that it is planning to build three additional units, units 5-7 of 600 MW each, bringing the total capacity of the power station to over 3,000 MW.[2]
In 2012 it was reported that the units are being fueled with gas rather than coal.[3]
