Background

BEFAR Group is constructing a 350 MW subcritical coal plant on Huanghe East Road in Bincheng District, with two 50 MW back-up units. It is planned for operation in 2017. The plant was originally developed by Weiqiao Group and later transferred to BEFAR Group.

Construction was completed in 2018.
