Background
The cogeneration project has been under consideration since at least late 2021 based on tender documents. In June 2022, the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment reportedly released a report regarding approval of the cogeneration project of the Salt Chemical Industry Base in Zhangshu City.[1][2][3]
