Background
The pipeline's source is imported oil at Yizheng Port. A parallel project, Yizheng–Changling Parallel Oil Pipeline, was proposed in 2013 and started operation in 2017 to support the growing demand of the central region in China.[2] In October 2020, ownership of the pipeline was transferred from Sinopec to PipeChina.[3]
