Background
Yokkaichi Works LNG Terminal is an LNG terminal in Kansai, Japan.[3][4]
The Yokkaichi Works LNG Terminal imports gas from Australia, Qatar and Indonesia.
There are conflicting reports about the Yokkaichi Works LNG Terminal regarding its start date and capacity.[5] According to the 2025 GIIGNL report, the terminal began operating with a capacity of 0.7 mtpa, which was increased by 0.5 mtpa and then 1 mtpa in 2010 and 2013, respectively.[6]
