Background
The sources of the pipeline is multiple gas fields in the Sichuan Basin. The total land area of lines and stations is about 400 acres, and the total investment scale is about 10 billion yuan.[1] In October 2020, ownership of the pipeline was transferred from Sinopec to PipeChina.[4]
“川渝输气大环线”管道项目由普光-元坝-德阳段、新场-三邑-天府新区段、永川-威远-天府新区段以及元坝-阆中-南充段、中江-龙泉-简阳段组成，辐射四川省成都市、德阳市、绵阳市、广元市、巴中市、达州市、南充市、眉山市、内江市等全省主要经济区和城市群，管道全长1756km（其中四川境内1254km），设计输气能力为120亿立方米/年，总投资规模约100亿元。
