Background

The first phase (Unit 1-1, Unit 1-2 and Unit 1-3) of Yudean Huizhou Gas power station (广东惠州天然气发电厂) officially commenced construction in September 2004.[14] On June 18, 2007, all three units were put into operation.[15]

The second phase(Unit 2-1, Unit 2-2 and Unit 2-3) of the project received approval from the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission on December 14, 2012.[16] It was fully completed and put into operation on January 15, 2019.[17]
