Yuncheng Gunlü power station (运城关铝热电) is an operating power station of at least 560-megawatts (MW) in Jiezhou Town, Yanhu District, Yuncheng, Shanxi, China. It is also known as 关铝集团运城关铝热电公司 (Unit 3, Unit 4), Yuncheng Guanlü power station (Unit 3, Unit 4).

Background

Yuncheng Gunlü power station is a 2 x 200 MW coal-fired power station built in 2008 and owned by Shanxi Guanlü Group.[1][2]

Expansion

In May 2017 Shanxi Guanlü Group was permitted to build two 80 MW coal-fired back-up units for the power station, units 3-4.[3]

Construction began in July 2017. Operation is planned for October 2018.[4]

Unit 3 was commissioned in March 2019.[5] Unit 4 was commissioned in 2019.[6]
