Coal Mine Background

The Zhahazhuoer surface mine was constructed in September 1999. The original production scale was 500,000 tons/year. The expansion began in May 2005, and the production capacity was expanded to 15 million tons/year. It was put into production in December 2010.[1] Approved by the State Administration of Coal Mine Safety in 2015, the production capacity was increased from 15 million tons/year to 18 million tons/year.[2]
