Background

Zhejiang Ningbo LNG Terminal is an LNG terminal in Zhejiang, China.[1]

The Zhejiang Ningbo LNG Terminal was commissioned in 2012 with LNG imported from Qatar. The first phase of the project includes three 160,000 cubic meter tanks and a receiving capacity of 3 mtpa.[2] [3]

Expansion Background

The second phase has began construction in June 2018. The proposed operating date is 2020. The proposed capacity is 3 mta.[4]

The first storage tank went operation in November 30, 2020, receiving the first load of imported LNG.[5]
