Zhongneng Yi'an Coal Mine (陕西省府谷县中能亿安矿业有限公司) is an underground coal mine located in Zhangshipan Village, Tianjiazhai Town, Fugu County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, China.[1]

Coal Mine Background

Zhongneng Yi'an Coal Mine is operated by Shaanxi Province Fugu County Zhongneng Yi'an Mining Co., Ltd. It is a coal resource integration mine. Before the integration, it was known as Fuyu Coal Mine, built in 1989 with a 0.06 million tons/year design production capacity. The integration project started construction in 2013 and was officially put into production in 2016, with a 1.2 million tons/year design production capacity.[2] The approved production capacity in 2019 was 1.2 million tons/year.[3]

At about noon on November 16, 2005, a roof-fall accident occurred in Fuyu Coal Mine, and nine miners were trapped underground. Seven miners were rescued, and the whereabouts of two were unknown.[4]
