Background

The pipeline is a connecting gas pipeline, connecting two major trunk pipeline, West-East Gas Pipeline 2 and Sino-Myanmar Gas Pipeline. Construction began in March 2011 and the pipeline was commissioned in November 2013. . The pipeline has one trunk line and three branches. The trunk line is 1613 kilometers in length. Longxi Branch is 142 kilometers, operating in 2018. Longnan Branch is 85 kilometers, and Tianshui Branch is 46 kilometers, operating in 2014.
