Background

Zhuhai LNG Terminal is an LNG terminal in Guangdong, China.[2][3]

Phase I of the Zhuhai LNG Terminal was completed in 2013 with three 160,000 cubic meter tanks and a receiving capacity of 3.5 mpta.[2] The terminal will supply natural gas to the cities of Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangmen.[4] A 3.5-mtpa Phase Two of the project was proposed.[5] In May 2020, Phase Two began the invitation to tender for the social stability risk assessment service, signaling the start of the second phase of the LNG terminal project.[6]
