煤矿背景
中煤平朔集团有限公司东露天矿 于2009年1月开始动工建设。2013年7月，山西省煤炭工业厅以晋煤办基发〔2013〕988 号文同意该项目联合试运转；2016年6月，原中国环境保护部完成了该项目竣工环保验收。生产能力为2000万吨/年。[12]2021年产能核增为2500万吨/年。[2]截至2024年1月，该矿申请将产能扩增至3000万吨/年。[12]
该矿煤炭销售流向主要有两个，一是从东露天选煤厂直接通过皮带运输，为国家电投神头一期2×600MW燃煤电厂供煤，占比约20%；二是从东露天选煤厂装车，煤炭将通过矿区铁路专用线、北同蒲线（山西省大同到太原铁路的北段）、大秦线（山西省大同-河北省秦皇岛）和朔黄线（山西省忻州市神池县神池南站-河北省沧州市黄骅市黄骅港站）等外运往秦皇岛港、京唐港、曹妃甸港等沿海港口，占比约80%。[12]
